Curriculum update

After much struggling, research etc we have finally came to a conclusion with all three boys.

Bible: New Testament studies using HOAC "Who is Jesus" lapbook and homeschool in the woods "New Testament activity pack" and This Online Bible Study

Devotional: "Gotta Have God" ages 6-9

Habits: Notebookingpages Character Notebook along with a list of Habits from Simply Charlotte Mason

Math: Mammoth Math for all three boys and Living math for the younger two as well as Gnome Math.

Language Arts: Gryphen will be using Sonlights 2"I can read it" and Sandi Queen's Language Lessons for the very young book2 , Phoenix will be using Primary Language Lessons and Tristan will be using Intermediate Language Lessons.

Copywork: will be a mixture of pages I make up, memory verses and some of Sandi Queen's copywork books (Nature and Spelling)

History: We will follow Ambleside Online year 1 with all three boys
Trial and Triumph
An Island Story
Fifty Famous Stories Retold
Viking Tales

Literature:We will follow Ambleside Online year 1 with all three boys

Poetry: We will follow Ambleside Online year 1 with all three boys
A Child's Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson
Now We Are Six/When We Were Very Young by A.A. Milne

Natural History: We will follow Ambleside Online year 1 with all three boys

Handbook of Nature Study

James Herriot's Treasury for Children

The Burgess Bird Book for Children

Geography: We are using a mixture of Flat Stanley and Notebookingpages State Pack. As well
as some of Amblesides Geography.

Art: instead of studying an artist this term we are studying types of Art using Homeschool in the Woods Art pack as well as lots of art books from the library.

Composer Study: We are going to listen to many different composers this term just to get used to classical music

Handicraft: We will use knitting using our new knitting dolls.

and we gave up on Japanese and went with French

French: Several websites and downloads for conversational French..

Sounds like you have everything covered and your kids will learn a lot!

My friend is going to homeschool her preschooler/kindergartener (I forget what age) and I was wondering if you knew of a good curriculum? Maybe a Christian one too?
